From Executive Producer Jada Pinkett Smith comes a new documentary series exploring the lives of prominent and iconic African Queens. This season will feature Cleopatra, the world’s most famous, powerful, and misunderstood woman — a daring queen whose beauty and romances came to overshadow her real asset: her intellect. 1. Do you want to convince me that what they told us at school is false and that Netflix is true?
Cleopatra is not black , dont falsify the history of Egypt
    I'm Egyptian, I'm against Afrocentric 🇪🇬✌

  2. Honestly it would have been acceptable if they just went full 300-mode and made it a complete zany comic book history adaption. No one cares that the Persians in 300 had black Africans in their ranks and how the Greek army isn't actually 10300 strong, but 300 strong. Why? Because it's a comic. The rule of cool ruled. It's completely over-the-top and not possible to be confused with reality.

  3. Is race swapping was supposed to help race relations? Great job fanning the flames of hatred. People get along when they stay in their own lanes. You can’t elevate group A by humiliating group B.

  4. Ah yes, Queen Cleopatra, the Greek woman who was part of a Greek dynasty who colonised and ruled over Egypt.

Let's show her as black (I'm assuming she's meant to be Nubian) because why not.

Imagine you make a movie about the colonisation of India and all the British officers are Indian because "hey, they ruled India so they must have been Indian lol". While we're at it, why not make Julius Caesar blonde and blue eyed? After all, he ruled over Germania.

Americans ruining history and insulting cultures as usual.

  5. Как вы зае**ли со своей "повесткой". Вы, тридварасы, только усугубляете и подливаете масло в огонь расизма. Хоть что-то можете снять с некой исторической достоверностью?!

  6. Bro the part where she pulls out her phone and calls Bill Clinton but he didn’t answer cus he was to busy molesting half of Arkansas….10/10. Make sure they show this to 2nd graders after their sex transitioning classes.

  7. Cleopatra was greek not Egyptian. She was white.
Honestly who cares. Hollywood has long portrayed history peoples and figures who were black as white people.

    Gods of Egypt
    10 commandments
    Any bible movie
    Shit even 300.

  8. Okay. Serious question. Africa is literally huge and right there. Is it really that inconceivable that Cleopatra was at least part black? I thought no one knows for sure what she looked like. What we do know is how offended people seem to be now that she is potrayed with black heritage compared to when she has been potrayed with other heritage in the past that was definitely not Mediterranian and olive skinned. The outrage is soooo interesting.

  9. cleopatra was a direct descendant of alexander the great – a marcadonian – pale white skined people with green/blue eyes if there ever was one.
please stop blackwashing history before some dumbass who gets all there knowledge from youtube starts thinking cleopatra was ethnically egyptian.

  10. Isn't this very similar to what Kyrie Irving got in trouble for? Well I guess this Jewish Community is more powerful in America than the Egyptian Community.

  11. 😂😂the anger in the comments are hilarious…I vote that we stop claiming Cleopatra as blk because you yt mfs are HURT…y’all can have you all’s queen.. there are many more in history

  12. Nice cultural appropriation, Netflix…!
"I don't care what they tell you in school, Cleopatra was black" Oh, yeah, your grandmama sure was a renowned historian, wasn't she? Come on!

  13. this is an abomination. i am indian who knows little bit of history, Cleopetra was greek and they almost never mixed their blood with the local people, hech it is often understood that she might be the the first one in their dynasty who could speak in egyptian language, cause the royal family's private language was also greek. At first the rednecks of america was writing hisory but they only have a superiority complex, these woke people nowdays are downright lying about everything and cancel culture is there weapon. God saves us non american people from this tremendous stupidity.
