  • Grated Pumpkin – 2 cups
  • Curd – one and a half cup
  • Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Green chili chopped – 1 to 2
  • Green coriander finely chopped – 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste

Pumpkin Raita Recipe

  • To make Pumpkin Raita, first cut the pumpkin.
  • After removing its thick peel, tighten it.
  • Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame.
  • When the oil becomes hot, add grated pumpkin and a little salt to it and mix with the help of a spoon.
  • After this let the pumpkin cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • During this, keep stirring the pumpkin in between with the help of a spoon.
  • After the pumpkin is cooked, turn off the gas and take it out in a bowl.
  • Now put curd in a big mixing bowl and churn it well.
  • When the curd becomes smooth and thin, add red chili powder, cumin powder,
  • Add finely chopped green chilies, coriander leaves and salt as per taste and mix well.
  • Put the cooked pumpkin in a bowl and mix it well with the curd with the help of a spoon.
