Amarnath Yatra 2023: The government has released the schedule for the Amarnath Yatra. The yatra will start from July 1 this year and will last for 62 days. Registration for the yatra will start from 17th April. Let us tell you that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had reviewed the security regarding Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday itself. Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh and other senior officers were present in this meeting.

Announcing the dates for the holy pilgrimage and registration, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday (April 14) said that the administration is committed to ensure smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage. The administration will provide good health care and other necessary facilities to all the visiting devotees and service providers. Telecom services will be made operational before the commencement of the pilgrimage.

The Lt Governor said that the yatra would start from both the routes- Pahalgam track in Anantnag district and Baltal in Ganderbal district. The Lieutenant Governor has given necessary instructions to the officers for this. The Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) will also telecast the morning and evening aarti (prayer) live for the devotees.
