Ambedkar Jayanti 2023 Events: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s 132nd birth anniversary was celebrated with great enthusiasm across the country on Friday (April 14). KCR unveiled the statue of Babasaheb

Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao unveiled a 125-feet tall statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar in Hyderabad on Friday on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the architect of the Constitution. The statue has been made using 360 tonnes of pure steel and 114 tonnes of bronze at a cost of Rs 146.50 crore.

Flowers were showered on the Ambedkar statue from a helicopter. CM KCR said that India’s tallest statue of Ambedkar will inspire people every day and inspire the entire state administration. The statue is located next to the State Secretariat and the Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial.

Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train departs from New Delhi on Ambedkar Circuit

These places are included in Ambedkar Circuit

It was told by the Ministry of Tourism that with its cooperation, IRCTC is starting its first tour on Ambedkar Circuit from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station on an 8-day special tour from April 14, 2023. The tour will include visits to prominent places associated with the life of Babasaheb Ambedkar such as New Delhi, Mhow, Nagpur and holy Buddhist sites such as Sanchi, Sarnath, Gaya, Rajgir and Nalanda. The Baba Saheb Ambedkar Memorial located in New Delhi will be a major attraction included in this tour. The train has a pantry car equipped with fresh vegetarian food for the tourists. Infotainment system, CCTV cameras and security guard services are available in the train.
