Experts had advised him to start his rehab six weeks after surgery and under this schedule, Bumrah has started his rehab program at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru from this Friday (April 14).
In this statement, it has been said about Shreyas Iyer, ‘Shreyas Iyer has to undergo surgery next week for a lower back problem. He will be under the surgeon’s supervision for two weeks after the surgery and will then return to NCA for rehab.

Bumrah is away from the field for seven months
Jasprit Bumrah has been running out of Team India for almost seven months. He last played a T20 International match in September before the T20 World Cup 2022.
