‘Whiteness like milk comes from BJP, tarnished leaders also blossom…’, Congress taunts the saffron party

Nirma Poster Of BJP Leaders: PM Narendra Modi reached Guwahati on Friday (April 14) during Bihu, a special festival of Assam. After reaching Guwahati in Assam, he inaugurated AIIMS Guwahati. During this, State Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was also present with him. Meanwhile, posters with edited pictures of ‘Nirma Girl’ along with faces of BJP leaders like CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Narayan Rane, Shubhendu Adhikari, Sujana Chowdhary, Eshwarappa were seen in Guwahati. All the leaders present in the poster were those leaders who have left other parties and joined BJP.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma welcomed PM Modi at Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport. PM Modi, who reached Assam tour, also virtually inaugurated three medical colleges in Nalbari, Nagaon and Kokrajhar. On the other hand, the ‘Nirma Wale Poster’ has raised the political temperature. Earlier, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh had posted a graphic of washing powder advertisement on his Twitter account, with the caption, ‘BJP se whiteness like milk, tarnished leaders also bloom.’

CM Mamta also told BJP ‘washing machine’
The Congress attacked the BJP while doing a skit on the old washing powder advertisement ‘catchphrase’. According to the Congress, BJP state governments are nothing but ‘double washing machines’ where ‘past sins’ are washed away. Earlier on March 30, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta had also called BJP a ‘washing machine’. At the same time, the Congress had besieged the BJP for supporting the Sangma government in Meghalaya. The Congress said that a few days back the BJP high command had considered the Sangma government as the ‘most corrupt’ and now the party is joining hands with them.
