How to make Litchi Shikanji

  • Litchi 6 to 8
  • a small piece of ginger
  • few basil leaves
  • Jaggery water or jaggery sawdust one to two spoons
  • salt to taste
  • Pieces of ice
  • Water

Method

  • First of all, wash the fresh litchi, remove its peel and seeds and separate the pulp.
  • Now put litchi pulp, a glass of water, basil leaves, jaggery and salt in the blender and blend it.
  • When all these things are blended well, add a piece of ginger to it and blend it again.
  • Your sweet and salty litchi shikanji is ready. Keep it in the fridge for at least 2 to 3 hours to cool down.
  • When the litchi shikanji cools down, serve it garnished with basil leaves.
  • If you want, you can also drink Shikanji by adding ice cubes.
