Haryana & Punjab Weather Today: The heat is continuously showing its attitude in Haryana and Punjab. In Haryana’s Jind, the temperature reached 42.6 degree Celsius, while in Punjab’s Bathinda the temperature reached 42 degree Celsius. It can be inferred from the ever-increasing heat that when the heat has increased so much in the month of April, then the summer heat is going to be more torturous in June-July. In view of the heat, the Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave warning in many districts of Haryana. Along with this, yellow alert has also been issued in many districts.

Chances of rain from 17 to 19 April
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in Punjab from 17 to 19 April, during which there may be light rain along with a thunderstorm at a speed of 30 to 40 km. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for 3 days. In the month of April, where the maximum temperature in Punjab is 37 degrees on an average, this time the temperature has reached 42 degrees Celsius. In Punjab’s Pathankot, Patiala, Hoshiapur, Ferozepur, Fatehgarh Sahib, the temperature has crossed 40 degree Celsius. At the same time, the temperature in Barnala has reached 41 degree Celsius.

Heat wave expected in Haryana
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heat web in Sirsa, Fatehabad, Jind, Bhiwani, Hisar, Charkhi Dadri of western and south western Haryana. Apart from this, yellow alert has been issued in Rewari, Mahendragarh, Panchkula, Kaithal, Palwal, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Ambala, Faridabad, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kurukshetra, Panipat districts. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of light rain from 16 to 18 April. During this, strong winds will also blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km.

On the other hand, if we talk about the country’s capital Delhi, then Saturday was the hottest day of summer this season. Delhi’s temperature was recorded at 40.5 degree Celsius on Saturday.
