The Grand Steam Tour is a nine-day long journey designed to allow passengers to experience all that Great Britain has to offer – all while traveling in restored steam locomotives.
Yesterday, passengers traveled from the London Paddington Terminus of the former Great Western Railway, traveling all the way to Bristol Temple Meads station.
The steam train traveled through Taunton station at around 12pm on the way out and then around 8pm on the way back up, giving residents the chance to see a restored steam train up close, while passengers were given the opportunity to see new sights and places.
A video was captured of the train making its way through Taunton.
Chris Haig kindly passed on this aerial video to the County Gazette.
