Uddhav Thackeray lashed out at BJP-RSS from Nagpur, said this on the issue of Hindutva

Uddhav Thackeray Slams BJP-RSS Over Hindutva: Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray lashed out at the BJP-RSS and the central government while addressing the ‘Vajramutha’ rally of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance in Maharashtra’s Nagpur on Sunday (April 16). He surrounded BJP and Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) on the issue of Hindutva.

What did Uddhav Thackeray say?

Uddhav Thackeray said, “Every time I am accused of going with the Congress and abandoning Hindutva, is there no Hindu in the Congress?” There (in RSS-BJP) Hindutva is ‘Gaumutradhari Hindutva’, they sprinkled cow urine at the place in Sambhajinagar where we held our public meeting. He should have drunk some cow urine, he would have become wiser, our Hindutva is about nationalism.

‘Is this his Hindutva?’

Thackeray said, “On one hand they read Hanuman Chalisa and on the other go to mosque and listen to qawwali, is this their Hindutva? He goes to UP and does ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in Urdu, is this his Hindutva? Our Hindutva is about sacrificing one’s life for the country.

Uddhav questioned RSS about BJP

According to the reports of Deccan Herald, Uddhav Thackeray questioned the RSS regarding the BJP. He said, “I want to ask the RSS – is what the BJP is doing correct, does the country expect answers on important issues?” Significantly, Nagpur is the headquarters of the RSS. Uddhav was targeting the RSS and the BJP from the same city.

Uddhav’s target on PM Modi

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray indirectly targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of Hindberg Research regarding businessman Gautam Adani. He said that if the Hindenburg report is redundant, then why is there silence (from PM Modi’s side)? He said why there was no response to the allegations made by former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik regarding the Pulwama attack?
