Exclusive: TMC leader Mukul Roy will join BJP again? He himself gave this big statement

Mukul Roy To Join BJP: Senior Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mukul Roy has said that he will join BJP. In conversation with ABP Ananda, TMC MLA from Krishnanagar North said that he will meet Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda in Delhi. I will go back to BJP. I have also spoken to Shubhranshu (his son and former TMC MLA) on phone. He should also join BJP.

Denying the kidnapping theory, Mukul Roy said, “BJP has made arrangements to stay in Delhi. I spoke to Kailash Vijayvargiya, I will never return to TMC.” Roy is currently in Delhi.

What did Mukul Roy say when he went missing?

Earlier on Monday (April 17) night, Roy’s family had claimed that he was “missing” since the evening. With his arrival in Delhi, speculation started about his next political move. Roy’s family claimed that he was not in a “mental state” and that one should not play politics over an unwell person.

On the claims of missing, Mukul Roy said in Delhi on Tuesday morning, “I have come to Delhi. There is no specific agenda. I have been a Member of Parliament for many years. Can’t I come to Delhi? Earlier also, I used to come to Delhi regularly.

Sometimes in BJP and sometimes in TMC

Former railway minister Mukul Roy joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2017 following differences with the TMC leadership. He was made the National Vice President of BJP. Roy won the 2021 assembly elections on a BJP ticket but returned to TMC about a month after the results were announced.

Since returning to TMC, he has remained away from the public eye. Citing his ill health, he left the post of chairman of the Public Accounts Committee in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly last year.
