MP Weather Forecast: The sun has started blazing in Madhya Pradesh. The temperature has reached above 40 degree Celsius in more than 40 percent of the cities of the state. The tourist area Khajuraho has been recorded as the seventh hottest place in the country. On the other hand, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40.4 degree Celsius in Jabalpur on Monday. The mercury also recorded 40.9 degree Celsius in the capital Bhopal. It was the hottest day of this season. The rising heat has affected the normal life in the state.

Heat will increase in Madhya Pradesh

According to information received from the Meteorological Office, more than 20 cities in Madhya Pradesh recorded day temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius on Monday. Khajuraho and Rajgarh were the hottest cities. The mercury reached 43.2 degrees in both places. The temperature had crossed 40 degree Celsius in the month of March itself. There is a possibility of light rain in Chhindwara and Betul districts on Tuesday.

According to R Balasubrahmanyan, Director of Bhopal Meteorological Center, the heat will increase now. At present, the wind direction is south-west. Due to cloud cover, it has started getting bright sunlight. Solar radiation has also increased rapidly. Due to this, the temperature of the day has increased. Similar weather is expected in many parts of the state including Jabalpur on Tuesday as well. Due to the Western Disturbance reaching the north-western part of the country, the weather pattern may change once again from Wednesday.
