Karnataka Election 2023 Date: For the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023, BJP released its fourth list on Wednesday (April 19). In the fourth list, BJP has fielded former Congress MP B.V. Nayak from Manvi and has given ticket to Channa Basappa from Shimoga. Out of 224 assembly seats in the state, BJP had already announced candidates for 222 seats. With this, BJP has fielded candidates for all the seats in Karnataka.

Earlier, on April 17, the BJP released the third list for the Karnataka elections. BJP had announced candidates for 10 constituencies. Amidst resentment and rebellion in the party, the party gave space to the family members of three senior leaders. Senior leader SA Ramadoss is upset over not being given ticket from Krishnaraja constituency in Mysuru city. At the same time, due to not getting the ticket, the former Chief Minister of the state, Jagadish Shettar broke ties with the BJP and joined the Congress.

Former minister K.S. Eshwarappa’s ticket cut

Senior leader Krishnaraja, who is angry with the BJP, said that he will soon announce his decision about the future course of action. Let us inform that from Shimoga, BJP has fielded former minister K.S. Cutting the ticket of Eshwarappa, he has given ticket to Channa Basappa.

List of 10 candidates on 17 April

All parties have geared up to win the Karnataka assembly elections. The BJP has fielded its candidates on all the seats amidst the rebellion of the leaders in the state. BJP released the first list of 189 candidates on 11 April, the second list of 23 candidates on 12 April and the list of 10 candidates on Monday (17 April).

On the other hand, the Congress party has announced 209 candidates so far. Congress has given tickets to 124 candidates in the first list and 42 candidates in the second list on March 25. Congress can release the third list soon.
