Ingredients for Sheer Khurma

  • milk half liter full cream
  • 50 g vermicelli broken into small pieces

  • Sugar ½ cup

  • Dates 2 to 3
  • Raisins 10 to 12
  • Almonds Cashews Pistachios cut into pieces 10 to 12
  • half teaspoon poppy seeds

How to make Sheer Khurma

  • To make Sheer Khurma, first put the pan on the gas and heat it.
  • When the pan becomes hot, add ghee to it.
  • When the ghee becomes hot, add almonds, raisins, pistachios, cashews and coconut and fry them.
  • Now put ghee in another pan and add vermicelli and fry it.
  • After this, pour milk in a big pan and cook on low flame.
  • Cook the milk till it becomes thick and half.
  • After this, now add sugar to it and then cook it on low flame.
  • Now add dates and saffron along with roasted vermicelli and dry fruits.
  • Now let it cook on low flame,
  • Now put cardamom powder in it.
