Ingredients to make Garlic Spinach

  • Spinach 200 grams
  • Fenugreek 30 grams
  • 1 tsp asafoetida
  • 4 teaspoons oil
  • one to two finely chopped onions
  • 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste
  • three spoons gram flour
  • two teaspoons coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • one teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • Garam Masala
  • salt to taste

Garlic Spinach Recipe

  • To make Garlic Spinach, first heat water in a pan.
  • Now wash spinach and fenugreek and keep them to boil in water.
  • After boiling well, put spinach and fenugreek in ice water and cool it.
  • Now filter it and grind it in the mixer.
  • Now put oil in the pan for heating.
  • When the oil becomes hot, add asafoetida to it, then add onion and ginger-garlic paste and fry.
  • After the onion turns brown, mix gram flour in the pan.
  • Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and cumin powder to it.
  • After frying for 1 to 2 minutes, add tomatoes to the pan and after they become soft, add spinach puree to it.
  • Now mix garam masala curd and salt in it, leave it to cook for some time,
  • Now to prepare the tempering, heat oil in another pan.
  • Add cumin, finely chopped garlic and Kashmiri red chili to it and fry.
  • Then put this mixture in the spinach curry and stir it.
  • Your garlic spinach curry is ready, serve it hot with roti or rice.
