Britain’s PM is being investigated by Parliament, Rishi Sunak has now told where his wife invested

Rishi Sunak Reveals Wife Share Detail: Britain’s Cabinet Office on Wednesday (April 19) shared information about the ministerial interests of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. In this information, the stake of his wife Akshata Murthy in a child care agency has been disclosed. This agency can get benefit from a policy announced in the budget last month.

The publication of this list has happened last week after the monitoring investigation was started by the UK Parliamentary Commissioner. This parliamentary inquiry will decide whether Rishi Sunak has openly and clearly followed the obligations laid down under the code of conduct.

Akshata Murthy is the owner of UK Limited
From the list of ministers’ shares published online, Sunak has disclosed his wife’s shares. According to this, the Prime Minister’s wife is a venture capital investor. He owns the venture capital investment firm Catamaran Ventures UK Ltd. and holds shares in several other companies.

According to this, the British Prime Minister had also informed about Akshata Murthy’s small stake in Koru Kids in his letter to the head of the Parliament’s Liaison Committee on April 4, 2023.

Akshata Murthy registered as a shareholder of Koru Kids
Downing Street sources said the parliamentary oversight probe was linked to Akshata’s interests in Koru Kids Ltd. It is believed that this company can benefit under a new pilot scheme announced in the budget presented last month.

Akshata Murthy, daughter of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy, is registered as a shareholder of Koru Kids. The opposition had brought this fact to the fore last month and an explanation was sought from the Prime Minister in this regard.

Owner of 0.9 percent in father’s company
Sunak’s wife is the daughter of one of the founders of the Indian IT giant Infosys. Along with this, based on the share price on Monday (April 17), the company is worth about $ 600 million, owns about 0.9 percent.

Please tell that if Sunak is found guilty in the investigation, then he may have to apologize. Along with this, action can be taken against them. In such a situation, it is possible that a committee taking action against him may suspend or expel him from the house.
