Silver Coins Found In Damoh: During the ongoing excavation for the construction of a house in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh), 240 coins of the British era have been found. These coins are about 136 years old. Later the laborer handed over these coins to the police. According to the information received from the police, the work of digging for the construction of a house was going on in the Kotwali police station area, during which laborer Halke Ahirwar found coins from the spot, he took the coins to his house but he could not sleep all night. Didn’t come. Finally he decided to hand over these coins to the police.

Kotwali police station in-charge Vijay Rajput said that Halke Ahirwar, a resident of Badapura area, handed over these coins to the police. He has told that during the excavation of the house on Tuesday, he found these coins in a pot. First he took him home but later handed him over to the police. According to the police, these coins belong to the reign of Queen Victoria and the market price of each coin has been estimated at more than eight hundred rupees. The police is engaged in the investigation of the matter.

On the other hand, according to media reports, landlord Meenakshi Upadhyay says that when the coins were found and the laborer took them away, it was not known. Information was received through social media that silver coins were found during the excavation in my house. Laborer Halke Ahirwar says that when he was digging a pit, he suddenly found these coins, first he took them to his home, but then he felt that the coins should be given to the police. Then reached the police station in it and gave the coins to TI.
