Karnataka elections: Clash between BJP and JDS workers, several injured, case registered

BJP And JDS Workers Clashes: Political activity is on in Karnataka regarding the assembly elections, all the parties in the state are engaged in the race to get power, while in Tumakuru district there was a clash between the workers of the ruling BJP and the regional party JDS. Attacked with sticks and glass bottles

Police said that this incident took place on Thursday (April 20) in Heggere village of Tumkur district of Karnataka. Where two people were injured in a fight between JDS and BJP workers. On Thursday, Mubarak Pasha and Nazir Pasha were thrashed by JDS workers after joining BJP. The party goers attacked the victims with sticks and glass bottles.

Recently, the victims had attended Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s program in the district and decided to support the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections.

Attacked after switching from JD(S) to BJP

Nazir Pasha, one of the injured, told the police that JDS workers have been harassing and threatening us ever since we joined the BJP. Pasha said that after the announcement of the election dates, the situation in the village is serious.

According to the injured Pasha, these people have been targeting him ever since he decided to support the BJP. According to Pasha, he is supporting the saffron party because he did not get any benefit from JDS.

According to a Kannada TV, the victims were attacked by JDS party workers Munna, Soukat and Riyaz. The videos of the clash have gone viral. On the other hand, elections are to be held in Karnataka on May 10, the results of which will come on 13th.
