Twitter Blue Tick Check Mark Removed: According to his announcement, Elon Musk, CEO of microblogging site Twitter, has removed the blue ticks on the legacy verified account. Due to which the blue check marks of many eminent personalities including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, cricketer Virat Kohli, actor Shah Rukh Khan have been removed.
According to Twitter’s new rules, now their platform will give blue check mark only to those people who pay for Twitter Blue. Company owner Elon Musk had announced this several months ago, he said that after April 20, the blue tick will be removed from those accounts which have not taken paid subscription. He insisted that if a blue tick is required, then a monthly charge will have to be paid for it.
