Due to continuous snowfall, the travel arrangements of Kedarnath Dham have been badly affected. Officers, employees and laborers engaged in making travel arrangements in Kedarnath Dham are also facing huge difficulties. Today the doli will reach Kedarnath and on April 25 the doors will be opened with full rituals. In such a situation, if the situation remains like this, then the passengers may have to face a lot of problems.
This time there is heavy snowfall in Kedarnath Dham. No one had expected that there would be snowfall in Dham even in the last week of April, but snowfall is happening so much that it is not taking the name of stopping. Due to this snowfall, all the arrangements made in the Dham have gone awry. Due to snowfall, there are huge difficulties in making arrangements for stay and food for the passengers.
Difficulty in making arrangements due to snowfall
Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam and local people are putting up tents, but due to snowfall, these tents are also getting demolished. The workers of the administration have cleared the snow many times from the Dham including the pedestrian path, but due to repeated snowfall, the snow is re-freezing. Not only this, icebergs are breaking at many places even on the footpath, due to which the problems are increasing.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Bishakha Bhadane said that all the passengers who are coming on the Kedarnath Yatra should know about the weather in advance and travel only when the weather is clear. Also, travel with warm clothes according to the weather. Let us tell you that after the opening of the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham in Uttarakhand from April 22, the Chardham Yatra has started. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on 25 April while the doors of Badrinath will open on 27 April.
