Curd is one such dairy product, which is used in every household. Some eat it in the morning breakfast, some include it in the afternoon meal, and there are some people who include curd in the dinner as well. Curd can be eaten not only with roti and rice, but also with many dishes. As you know, protein, calcium and vitamins are found in abundance in curd. Although curd is bought from the market nowadays, but most people prefer to set curd at home.
However, the problem arises when you do not have sourdough to set the curd. But there is nothing to worry because you can make curd at home even without sourdough. Today we will tell you some such tricks, with the help of which you can set curd even without sourdough.
Curd made from green chillies
First of all, heat the milk slightly. Then put this lukewarm milk in a bowl. Now put two green chillies in hot milk. However, keep in mind that there must be a stalk in the chilli. Chilli should be completely immersed in the milk. After completing this process, keep the milk covered in a warm place for 6 hours. Your curd will set without curd.
freeze curd with lemon
You will also need lukewarm milk to make curd with lemon. You have to squeeze 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and put it in lukewarm milk. Then cover the milk for 6 to 7 hours and keep it in a warm place. By doing this the curd will solidify.
silver coin or silver ring
Put a silver coin or a silver ring in lukewarm milk. Then keep the milk covered in a warm place for 8 hours. This is the easiest way to set curd.
curd with red chillies
Not only green chillies, curd can also be set easily with red chillies. If you don’t have green chillies and red chillies in your house, then you can easily set curd without sourdough. To make curd with red chillies, you need dry red chillies. Soak red chillies in lukewarm milk for 7 to 8 hours and keep it in a clean and warm place. By doing this the curd will solidify.
