Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Aiden Markram made a statement after the close defeat in the match against Delhi Capitals. During the presentation ceremony, he said, ‘Then not a good performance with the bat. Not enough intention. We saw a team that was not excited to win a cricket match. We have to think on how we can chase the target better. Let us be independent as a team and unit, hope it can help us move forward.
Markram further said, ‘We want to play a certain brand of cricket. If we are not able to do this then we will not be able to sleep at night. There was a lack of intent to win in today’s match. According to Markram, ‘We have really good players and good batsmen. Unfortunately I think we are letting ourselves down due to lack of intention.
