PM Modi inaugurates Namo College: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday (April 25) dedicated several projects to the nation, including the inauguration of the Namo Medical College in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. During this, he said that no one can imagine how modern and fast development happens in all four directions in such a small area, we have seen this.
The PM said, “In the country, the emphasis is on satisfaction, not on appeasement. When the government itself goes to the doorsteps of the people, discrimination ends, corruption ends, nepotism ends: we have finished it.” And worked for the people.”
‘Never worried about injustice’
PM Modi said that our Silvassa is no longer the old one, now it has become cosmopolitan. There will not be any corner of India where people do not live in Silvassa. In the last 9 years, we have developed a new working style in the country. Now the work for which the foundation is laid, every effort is also made to complete it fast. As soon as we finish one task, we start another task. He further said that we spent Rs 5 thousand 500 crore in the last five years for development.
The PM said that decades have passed since independence, but not a single medical college has been built in Daman, Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Those who ruled the country for decades never worried about the injustice being done to the youth here. They understood that they would not get anything by developing this small union territory.
The medical college which has got its own campus today has been a great witness to this injustice.
