Thiruvananthapuram-Kasaragod Vande Bharat Train: PM Modi has reached Kochi on a two-day visit to Kerala. On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi did a roadshow in Kochi and will now flag off Kerala’s first Vande Bharat Express train on Tuesday. According to the information, the PM will also start the water metro during this period. On Monday, people in Kochi gave a grand welcome to PM Modi and showered flowers on him.

On Tuesday, PM Modi will gift the first Vande Bharat train to Kerala and will run between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasaragod for the first time. This 16-coach train will cover 11 districts, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasaragod. According to the information, PM Modi will leave Vande Bharat Express from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station at around 10.30 am. At 11 am, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 3200 crore at the Central Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
Apart from this, PM Modi will visit the Namo Institute of Medical Education and Research at 4 pm.
