Seven women wrestlers, including Vinesh Phogat, filed a petition in the Supreme Court on Monday. In this, an FIR was demanded against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh alleging sexual harassment. The next hearing of the case will be held on April 28 in the court. Now the wrestlers are getting the support of many politicians in the matter. Former Haryana Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda has also announced his support for the players who are protesting at Jantar Mantar.

allegations of wrestlers

The wrestlers had opened a front against the President of the Wrestling Federation in January this year. At that time, the Sports Ministry had formed a monitoring committee under the chairmanship of Mary Kom after talking to the wrestlers, but this time again the wrestlers were forced to sit on a dharna. He alleges that no action was taken in the matter after January. Their complaints are being ignored. Even the players allege that the Delhi Police refused to register an FIR against the WFI chief.
