Union minister Nitin Gadkari gets threat again, third case in a year

Nitin Gadkari Gets Threat Call: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has once again received threats. According to news agency PTI, an unknown person made a threatening call on the landline number of Gadkari’s official residence on Motilal Nehru Marg.

The police gave this information on Tuesday. Police said that an employee of Gadkari’s office had received this call on Monday night (May 15). The official told that the caller did not give any information about himself and asked to talk to Gadkari.

What did the person making the threat say?

The officer told that the threatening person spoke in Hindi on the phone and said that I have to talk to the minister (Nitin Gadkari), he has to be threatened” and disconnected the call. After this, Gadkari’s office informed the entire matter to the Delhi Police which is probing the matter. The officer said that all the phone records are being scrutinised. The accused had called on a landline number so we are trying to trace the number to reach the culprit. Further investigation is on.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has received threats several times in the past as well. Let us tell you that Minister Gadkari’s office in Nagpur had received such threatening calls on two different occasions earlier this year. Police said that a team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had gone to Nagpur on May 9 to investigate the matter.

The call was allegedly made by Jayesh Pujari alias Kantha, a murder convict who has been arrested from a jail in Karnataka’s Belagavi and booked under the anti-terror law UAPA.
