Imran Khan Pakistan News: Police teams have surrounded the house of former Prime Minister of Pakistan and Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan. According to police officials, they had received inputs about the hiding of 30 to 40 terrorists in Imran’s house. After which preparations for military operation have been started at Zaman Park, Imran’s house.
According to media reports, Pakistani police and intelligence agencies received input on Wednesday afternoon (on May 17) that the accused in the attack on Peshawar Cops Commander’s house were hiding in Imran’s house. After which the siege of Imran’s house was done. The police has given an ultimatum to the terrorists to get out of the house in 24 hours. It is being told that if this does not happen, police-force teams will enter Imran’s house and kill the terrorists. Strict action can also be taken against Imran this time.
PTI handed over to terrorists within 24 hours: Punjab government
Taking a dig at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Lahore, Aamir Mir (Acting) Information Minister of the Interim Government of Pakistan’s Punjab Province said, “30-40 terrorists took shelter in Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence in Lahore.” They have been taken. They should be handed over to the police. PTI should understand that the law will take its course.” Amir said, “You have 24 hours to hand over the terrorists hiding in Zaman Park to the police.”
May 9 rioters compared to terrorists
Amir also said that the government knew about the presence of “terrorists” well in advance, as there were several credible intelligence reports. He said that on May 9, violence and arson in many parts of the country would be severely punished. For this those “terrorists” will be presented in military courts.
This siege of the police has come to the fore after the speculations that action was being taken against Imran Khan and his supporters under Articles 59 and 60 of the Army Act. This section is imposed for civil crimes, under which if found guilty, there is a provision of death sentence for the culprit. The reason for registering a case against Imran under the Army Act is being told by Imran’s supporters for damaging army properties.
Recently, Pakistan Army’s media wing ‘Inter Services Public Relations’ ie ISPR talked about taking action against the accused under the Army Act in case of damage to army properties.

In fact, after the arrest of Imran Khan on 9 May 2023, his supporters attacked the PM’s residence in Lahore. Apart from this, the residence and office of army commanders were also attacked. Petrol bombs were hurled at the army headquarters in Rawalpindi. 15 people lost their lives in violent demonstrations across the country. After that, more than 2 thousand people were arrested. Most of whom were workers of Imran’s party PTI.
