Meta India Partnership Head Resigns: The process of resignation continues in Meta India, the parent company of the social media platform Facebook. After the company’s India head Ajit Mohan stepped down in November, now another senior executive has resigned. Manish Chopra, Partnership Head, Meta India, has resigned from the post after serving the company for 4.5 years.

It is worth noting that after the resignation of Meta India Head Ajit Mohan last year, this is the fourth major resignation news in the company. Earlier, Public Policy Head Rajeev Aggarwal had also given his resignation in November 2022. Along with this, Abhijit Bose, head of WhatsApp India, also announced to leave the company last year. Significantly, Ajit Mohan and Rajiv Agarwal have joined Snap Inc and Samsung after leaving Meta. At the same time, Abhijit Bose had planned to start a startup. After the resignation of Ajit Mohan, partnership head Manish Chopra took over as the head of Meta India till January 2023. After this, Sandhya Devanathan was made the head of Meta India.

Significantly, Manish Chopra had joined Meta India (then Facebook India) in the year 2019. He has played his role as the head and director of the partnership for 4.5 years. They had a goal of increasing engagement on all platforms of Meta such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. It is worth noting that Meta India has a user base of crores through Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. Prior to joining Meta India, Chopra has worked in companies such as Paytm, online fashion brand Zovi, Microsoft and Oracle.
